This is for my sister, Jennifer. It's her birthday today (August 24th). Now we're both 20-years-old and will be for another month. She thinks that's glorious, and she can have her glory since it's her birthday. But it's over in thirty minutes here, and I plan to snuff out the glory after that.

But seriously.

You're one of the most amazing people in the world and nothing will ever be good enough for you. I mean that you deserve a lot and no one could possibly give it all to you.

I admire you. You've been through nearly twice as much as I have and still you're kind, polite, forgiving and sane.

I know we didn't always get along, but we had a lot of fun times. I still remember watching The Cider House Rules over and over with you that weekend in the summer years ago. We must have watched it at least ten times. Why we did that is beyond me, but I remember it being awesome.

One time Mom said to me, "She's your sister; give her all the chances in the world." And I have done that since. But no taking advantage, you ho. I can't afford drugs for us both all of the time.

But I know that you truly understand me because when I meow at you, you always meow back.
