Oh, it's good someone pays attention to this horrible condition. I haven't got it myself, but I have something similar, and it sucks just as much, I would think. It's such a shame profesionals don't take it seriously. Just because it cannot be detected, doesn't mean it doesn't excist. Thanks for bringing this out.
I'm just participating. I had no idea it was Fibro Awareness Week until I read the news article.
You're welcome anyway, though.
My step-dad has fibro, and my best friend's mom has it too. From an outsider's perspective I've witnessed some pretty debilitating effects. I hope they find a cure for it someday.
Unfortunately, I was diagnosed and suffer from that myself. It can be quite disabiling at times, though some people just don't understand. Unless you have it, you can't understand how disabling it is.
I know, and I won't pretend to understand, but I hear that it's terrible.
My step-dad suffers from severe fibromyalgia, and as part of Fibro Awareness Week, I submitted a story about some of the things I've witnessed from an outsider's perspective.
I'm so sorry you have to deal with that. I hope it has made you a stronger person at least.
