This is one of the poems I've written that I feel really confident about, so I thought I would participate in *PrintsForLit!

It's a pretty scary notion. My most recent adventure is being married :) that sure is something I've never done before :giggle:

Are you glad for it? :)

I recently took a charter bus to an entirely different province on my own. It was scary at first, but I feel way more confident about travelling now!

Of course I am :) I'm right beside Keith almost 24/7. Feels weird whenever we're apart.

Traveling is fun  I think I first started traveling completely on my own (and really traveling, none of that tour group stuff, which I never did) when I was 17. Before that, I started flying when I was a baby. And have pretty much never stopped. Up until last year, I used to fly at the very least once a month, long-haul flights too.

I always feel that the point of traveling is to go home (in a way). Whenever I return from a trip, it always feels like it was a dream, that it never really happened. It's an interesting sensation.

Aww, that's nice. :)

I can identify with your dream sensation. When I think back to my wonderful vacations, it seems I never truly went anywhere.

I've only been on a plane once, and that was a few years ago. I find flying kind of scary, and it's expensive, but eventually I will go on another plane because I'd love to visit France.

I never really felt flying was expensive until very recently. One, because I travel with my husband now... and I'm like... dammit, now it's DOUBLE. Even though I'm not the one paying anymore, what's his is still mine and so forth, you know, the whole package that comes with marriage :giggle: and two... my god have flight costs not gone way up all of a sudden. What the hell. All over the place. It's shocking.

Really? That's too bad. It seems like prices for everything are going up these days. Especially gasoline. :hmm:

It would be for two! :giggle:

It must be nice having someone to travel with all of the time, though. :)

It's a nice change. Both my husband and I are severely used to traveling alone :giggle:

He can be quite difficult >_> he's used to flying in First... whereas Business is fine for me. We do prefer sitting together though so he has to somewhat endure the lesser quality of Business, especially on long-haul flights

I'd be happy as long as I got where I was going. :giggle:

Well that's of course, a given...

I cannot fly coach/economy though.
