A lot of people, actually. My mom, my little sister, my grandpa, my dad, my step-dad, my uncle and my aunt. I know so many people that smoke. It's depressing. I don't understand why any of them would want to do that to themselves. I understand that it's necessary to take risks, and even walking out your front door is dangerous, but smoking is so blatant and defiant. Life is already short, why make it shorter?

And perhaps I'm a bit selfish for wanting them to live longer. I can't imagine what I would do without any of them. I know that everyone dies eventually, but they don't need to die sooner than they have to. Another thing is that it puts a strain on the health care system. I always stress accountability. People have to start holding themselves accountable before any decent change will take place. I'm completely for all of these anti-smoking laws.
