It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?

I Need Your Help

Well, a journal was already made by !DCZed addressing each deviantART Related category in the gallery.

I'm changing the project around a little. I would like for people to read the journal. If you have any questions after, note them to me and I'll be building a FAQ for them. At the end I'll post a news article including the FAQ questions/answers and !DCZed's journal content. I'll also make a journal entry for the FAQ so that I can keep updating it in the future.

!DCZed and *mixdown came up with the idea of a news article that fully explains the deviantART Related gallery and what all its categories mean. If you have any questions or anything in particular that you want explained in the article, please send me a note and let me know. It's important that you note me and not comment with your question/idea here. I'm going to be working on it. If all goes well, I'll be able to release it by the end of this week!

If there's anything else you want addressed in the article, note me. That still goes!

Other Ideas

What else am I up to?

Well, I plan to submit a news article at the end of each month featuring the DDs from that month. Since there are only four for January, I'm going to feature them in a separate journal tomorrow. There's already too much content in this one and I don't want to draw your attention from them.

I plan to start a journal for club listings that connect themselves to the deviantART Related gallery, so if you know if any clubs, please note them to me.

I will add a module to the right of my journal soon and fill it with all kinds of information that relates to CR and the deviantART Related gallery. If there's anything in particular that you want to see there, or if you have a good idea, please note me. I'm not going to list all of the GMs; rather I'll add a link to the list in $Moonbeam13's journal.

I've already added links to the footer of this journal, so please have a look at look at them. If you notice that any of the links are broken, let me know and I'll fix them. As for trivia night, that will still be happening at some point in the future.

Handling miscats will be an ongoing and endless process. :B

It's Sundae, Nom

How is everyone doing? I have some good news. My mom and the rest of my immediate family have arrived back in town today and will be living close to me again. It's nice not having to take a 17-hour bus trip to see them anymore!

My dad bought me a brand new 20" LCD wide screen monitor. It's amazing how much space I have to view things now. I wonder if I should use a different computer to check out CSS-related DDs.

=RosaryOfSighsx made two new stamps for me. :3

^Thiefoworld made a stamp for me as well, which I edited into my last journal a while after I posted it.

^Thiefoworld and `majnouna joined the CR team right at the same time that I did. They're heading up the Comics & Cartoons gallery. They've been doing a great job so far. Go encourage them and give them hugs!

I recently cleared my activity messages. I had far too many and no time to thank for each individual fave, so for the first time (and maybe not the last) I'd like to thank everyone who added my deviations to their faves. I only regret not being able to show my appreciation more personally. I hope everyone understands. I did make an effort of responding to each watch add, though.

I haven't been keeping up with deviations so well either. I've been looking at them, but not commenting so much. If there's anything you want me to comment on, send me a note. It's going to be like that for a while.

I have no idea what your criteria for CSS related DDs are, but it's enough to minimize the browser windows. You will see bugs/glitches etc that way too
